Why we do this
For licences from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco and Taiwan, an International Driving Permit isn't valid in Japan. The law asks instead for an official Japanese translation of the licence — but applying directly normally requires a Japanese address.
We stand in that gap. As your Japan-based representative, we prepare and submit the request to the issuing authority, receive the official translation, and send it to you before you fly. Every application is checked by our bilingual staff.
Where we come from
Camjyo has run inbound-travel businesses in Japan since 2019. Our campervan brand VAN TRIP JAPAN has hosted international travellers since 2023 — and JDLTC began there, when our own customers kept asking for help with their licences.
